Golf Connect Golf Tours - Nationwide Golf Tournaments for Amateurs

On the DC Golf Tour™, you may play as a guest as often as you would like for no membership dues or fees.

You may play in as many or as few tournaments as you like...simply "pay as you play."  Open to the first 100 paid applicants.

Online registration for events closes at 12:00 noon EST the Wednesday before each event so sign up early to reserve your spots!  

Beginning in 2010 all billing will be done in real-time(immediate) when you register.  All players will also receive a confirmation e-mail.

Entry Fees are per person and include course green fee, range balls, RIDING CART, and year end Player of the Year prize pool eligibility.

For the 2010 season, per event prize pools will be optional and available for $10 per player. For those who participate, the prize pool will include placement, skins, and day games contests. Prize money won will accumulate as you play in events and paid out twice per year (July 1 and end of season) in the form of VISA (if greater than $50) or Austad's Golf gift cards (if less than $50).

Sat. March 27, 2010 at Whiskey Creek GC in Ijamsville, MD. 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM tee times. $82 includes riding cart and range balls. Add $10 at sign up or at the course to be included in 3 prize pools: placement, skins, and day game contests.  2 Person SCRAMBLE Format. 

Sat. April 17, 2010 at Maryland National GC in Middletown, MD. 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM tee times. $87 entry fee includes riding cart and range balls. 2 Person BEST BALL Format.  Add $10 at sign up or at the course to be included in 3 prize pools: placement, skins, and day game contests.

Sat. May 8, 2010 at Bulle Rock GC in Havre de Grace, MD. 11:00 PM - 1:00 PM tee times. $134 includes riding cart, range balls, and prize pool eligibility. 2 Person Best Ball Format.

Sat. May 22, 2010 at Little Bennett GC in Clarksburg, MD. 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM tee times. $69 includes riding cart and range balls. Add $10 at sign up or at the course to be included in 3 prize pools: placement, skins, and day game contests.

Format:
The tournament is 3 days, 54-holes, 2-person Team formats. 
Thursday - Shamble format at White Eagle GC
Friday - Best Ball format at Stoneridge GC
Saturday - Scramble format at Troy Burne GC

Sunday, October 3 at P.B. Dye GC in Ijamsville, MD. 9:00 am shotgun start. $99 includes riding cart and range balls, BBQ lunch, and raffle entry.

This is a charity event that will benefit Oakland Mills Nursury School, a non-profit school.  100% of proceeds will go to the school. 

Prizes will include PB Dye Gift Certificates, Clubs, Balls, and assorted gift cards to local businesses.

All golfers who normally score 95 or less on 18 holes are eligible to play on the DC Golf Tour. To reserve a team, individual, or foursome, all players must sign up online.  Tournaments are open to the first 100 paid applicants (unless noted).  Because we must guarantee (and pay for) the number of players one week in advance, NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED IF YOU CANCEL LESS THAN 7 DAYS IN ADVANCE. It will be the players responsibility to find substitutes. A full refund minus a $5.00 processing fee will be issued for all cancellations made 8 days or more before the date of the tournament.  Thank you for your consideration.

TEEBOX POLICY - In an effort to help even the field, players utilize different tee boxes based upon skill level. Players average their prior 3 scores. (Recreational and/or Tour) For those golfers who average 84 or less you will play from the mens back tee's determined by the Local Tournament Director.  For those players who average 85 + you will play from the mens front tee's.  Women will play from the ladies tee's.
 
In the case of a player scoring a 79 or less 2 times on the tour (in the same year) you will be moved back a tee box.  Being a game of honesty and integrity, we ask that you remember this when deciding what tee box to play from.

DRESS CODE - Golfers must wear a collared or mock turtle neck shirt (men) and non-denim shorts/ pants and spikeless shoes.  Please remind your playing partner of the tour dress code.  Jeans are not considered appropriate attire
